Abstract
OCS Sale 181 in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico is the first oil and gas lease sale in this area in thirteen years. The area being considered for inclusion in the sale and potential restrictions and stipulations on industry activities (such as no surface occupancy) will be reviewed as will the status of the sale.
