Abstract
A Mound-Shaped Mega-Structure in the Recent Sediments of Firth of Tay, Fife, Scotland: NOTES
Sharad K. Mishra
ABSTRACT
Wave-interference produces round to sub-rounded sand mounds in the recent sediments of the Firth of Tay, Scotland. Sand mounds are modified forms of mega-ripples. Seasonal erosion and deposition creates scoops, troughs, and 'herringbone' internal structures that are partially preservable.
